I just want to say, I love fitcamp!. This is the first time in a
very long time that I have actually stuck with a workout program. I have
been doing it now for 4 months and look forward to every workout.
Melanie keeps it so much fun while killing us at the same time! In the 4
months I've been coming we have not done the same program once. She
always changes it up and makes it challenging. The music she plays is
great and just when I think I can't push myself any harder a great song
comes on that makes me want to kick it up another notch. Not to mention
the muscles that ache that you didn't even know you had! Half the time I
will have a muscle that hurts that I'm not even really sure what we did
that worked it because we do so much in such a short length of time.
If anyone wants to use the excuse they are not a morning person let me
just tell you I'm not either.But the feeling of accomplishment you have
when you have finished the class is so worth it. This has been the best
money and time I have spent on myself in a long time!

I know that I was so tired of being tired. I'm doing things I
never thought I could do and know I'd never push myself to do on my own.
This is addicting and I couldn't be more proud of myself for making it
through the workouts. Melanie does an excellent job making exercise both
exhausting yet fun, and pushes me to finish, not quit. On my own I
definitely do not push to the end, Melanie helps me hold myself
accountable. I am becoming all I used to be!

I enjoy the female fit camp style because it feels like a team
effort. We are each individually working our own bodies, but as we work
out in a group, the experience is more motivating than a regular gym
workout. Melanie is inspiring and attentive and it is clear that she
enjoys what she does and she truly wants us each to succeed and reach
our own personal goals while having fun.

I started Melanie's Fit Camp for Women 3 weeks ago to try and
lose the last 10lbs I've been working on for a year now. I'm a runner
and I really enjoy intermediate distance races, so most of my time is
spent out on the road. I felt like my body had sort of found a stand
still point. I had stopped losing weight and was having a hard time
improving my race times. Since starting Melanie's Fit Camp I have lost 3
lbs, gone from running 12 min miles to 11 min miles in the 10k division
and I just feel and look better. While I haven't yet lost the ten
pounds, (I attribute this more to my love of food than lack of exercise)
I just feel better all over. Getting up early in the mornings and
getting my body moving has made a big difference too. I sleep better at
night and don't feel so run down during the day. Melanie makes the
mornings fun and interesting. We always have something new to look
forward to so we are never bored or suffering from "plateau-itis".
Melanie is very creative and fun to work out with and is a great
motivator. She's always right there cheering us on or joining in with us
and she's readily available to answer our questions by email, whether
they be exercise or nutrition related. She's just a great gal all
around! I just signed on for an additional four weeks. I'm hooked!"

"I just wanted to take some time out of my day to thank you for
your awesome female fit camp. I lost some weight and gained some lean
muscle over the seven weeks I was attending your camp. I started keeping
a journal of the food I ate and was quickly surprised how many calories
I had been consuming in the past! Despite the initial muscle soreness, I
ending up with less back pain that I had been experiencing in the past.
I also started eating better, sleeping better, and feeling more
energetic after going to just the first few sessions. Each fitness camp
we did new exercise moves and worked out new muscles I didn’t even think
about using before. I now have more flexibility and can fit into those
clothes I had hid in the back of the closet that I never thought I fit
back into. Although there were those tough times during the workouts
like after being exhausted from just one circuit of exercises knowing
that we had two more rounds to go; it ended up really being worth all
the hard work. I have toned up so I can now look great in my wedding
gown and am I healthier."

I love fit camp!!!!
This is the best decision I have made for myself in many years. For
many years, I had grown accustomed to leading a sedentary life after I
gave birth to my second child, who is now 15 years old. I became tired
of being the person I saw in the mirror daily. She was listless,
overweight, and most importantly unhealthy. Finally, I made the
commitment to change my lifestyle. Working out is something I had tried
many times in the past unsuccessfully because I was not accountable to
anyone including myself. Now I am doing things I never thought I could
do. In the past, I was never motivated to push myself. I tried many
things at home to do on my own. Like so many others, I have home gym
equipment, which is collecting dust and not utilized. I love fit camp.
This is the first time that I have actually stuck with a workout
program. I look forward to every workout day. Melanie makes it so much
fun with original workout routines. Melanie’s routines are constantly
changing and challenging us, which keeps us from getting bored doing the
same routing every M-W-F. I must say I have come to realize I have
muscles I did not realize I had, why because I have awakened them.
After each workout, I feel so accomplished and proud of myself for
making it through the workout. Melanie does an excellent job making the
exercises both exhausting but yet fun, and pushes me (us) to finish, not
quit. What makes fit camp stand a part from other programs is Melanie’s
design makes you accountable to yourself first, also to those in your
group. She is our personal trainer, assisting all of us in reaching our
personal goals.

The Fit Camp is great! I really appreciate the variety of
workouts. It is fun to come and see what you have cooked up for us
next all while working the same muscles for a consistent workout.
While I could stand to lose some weight, I really wanted some serious
resistance training to get back into shape after several years of not
working out. Fit camp is providing it. I'm one of those weird people
who actually enjoy feeling sore in my muscles because I know that I've
properly and actively exercised them. After each work out I am very
clear about which muscles were targeted. :)
I can already feel a better posture returning and I can actually hold my
stomach in again! Woo Hoo! I'm looking forward to seeing my body at
the end of the month.

I have extremely enjoyed the Fit Camps the last few months! The
accountability of just signing up is enough to keep you going until you
get in the habit. Even though it might be hard to get up in the morning,
it makes you feel better the rest of the day! Also, even as a certified
fitness trainer myself, I know that someone else pushing you to do just
"one more set" or "three sets of just one more exercise," can take you
farther faster than you can take yourself!
